Flash in web sites
Flash has become an important part of web sites. But have we gone “over the top”
with it? As much flash can be colourful, funny, and visual, we must remember that the customer may not
want to sit through it. Here are some hints if you wish to incorporate flash into your web site:
1. Use a “Click” button to invite your clients to view the presentation
2. If you use a splash screen, make sure there is a “Skip” button.
Documenting your procedures?
Why should you document your procedures? Here are some reasons:1. Helps make sure that the correct procedures are carried out.
2. So new staff knows what to do and avoid mistakes.
3. Staff holidays, the person covering that position can carry out the tasks correctly.
4. If the procedure is not carried on a regular basis, it makes it easy to complete without trying to remember.
5. For auditing purposes.
Reduce costs by using E-mail.
Doing a good, value-packed, reader-focused, online newsletter can be one of the
best business decisions you’ll ever make. It will help you to:
1. Get referrals.
2. Keep you in the mind of your clients.
3. Help sell your products and services..
4. Improve the perception of your customer service.
